Nurse Practitioner Expands to New Location in Spartanburg

Apex Family Medicine has expanded into a new, larger Spartanburg office after outgrowing its original 80-square-foot location, allowing the practice to better serve a growing patient base seeking more personalized care.

Owned and operated by Family Nurse Practitioner Lauren Silver, FNP-C, Apex Family Medicine focuses on functional medicine, hormone replacement therapy, and medical weight loss services. The expanded space also supports the addition of new offerings, including vitamin IV therapy and bio-resonance testing.

Silver, who has a background in emergency nursing, created the practice to blend traditional medical care with a functional, holistic approach. She says the goal is to provide longer, more in-depth visits that prioritize understanding the full picture of a patient’s health.

Patients frequently share that they feel “finally heard” during their visits, reflecting the practice’s emphasis on relationship-based, individualized care.

Apex Family Medicine relocated to its expanded Spartanburg office approximately six months ago and is currently accepting new patients by appointment. To welcome new clients, the practice is offering $10 off the first visit when “Healthy Town Magazine” is mentioned at booking.

Apex Family Medicine is located at 292 S. Pine Street Suite A, in Spartanburg. For more information, call: 864-293-1440 or visit: ApexFamilyMed.com.

Full Body MRI Services Offered in Easley

LivingWell Integrative Healthcare is now offering access to full-body MRI scans through a collaboration with American Health Imaging in downtown Greenville, expanding access to advanced imaging for clients seeking preventive wellness screenings.

Cheryl Middleton, PA-C and co-founder of LivingWell Integrative Healthcare, says the goal of offering the service is to give clients a non-invasive way to look inside the body without radiation exposure. The scans are designed to help identify potential signs of cancer and other abnormalities earlier, while improving the overall patient experience.

LivingWell is one of just a few practices in the area collaborating with American Health Imaging to provide access to the scans. While the MRI is performed and interpreted by imaging specialists at the Greenville facility, LivingWell coordinates the service and reviews the results with clients as part of their ongoing care.

“We are always looking to enhance our clients’ experience here at LivingWell,” Middleton said.

Additionally, in celebration of LivingWell’s 20th anniversary, they’re offering $20 off a first visit, along with $20 off a thermogram session. Clients can mention “Cheers20” or that they saw the special in Healthy Town USA when calling to schedule an appointment to receive the discount.

LivingWell Integrative Healthcare is located at 838 Powdersville Rd. in Easley. For more information, or to get your $20 or $40 off, call: 864-850-9988 or visit: LivingWellHealthcare.com.

CORRECTION: Summer 2026

In our Healthy Living in Easley article on page 18 & 19, we incorrectly identified the ownership and management of the Old Post 1940 Coffee Shop. The shop is owned by Daphne and Troy Rosier, and their daughter, Aislinn Degrange, serves as the manager.

We regret the error and appreciate the opportunity to correct the record.
